This is a typed letter from the J. E. Linde Paper Company, which was located
in New York City, with branches in Harlem, New York, and in Newark, New Jersey.

The letter is dated February 16, 1914, and is written on a sheet of
the companys stationery, which has nice graphics of the company
buildings printed at the top of the letterhead.

The letter is signed by a company salesman whose name
is hard to make out, but which I believe to be "M. Kennedy".

Online records indicate there was a salesman of that name
who worked for the company at that time. Also, if you look
near the bottom left corner of the letter, you will see a very
short typed note indicating that this letter was dictated by
someone with the initials "MK".

The letter is addressed to the Rockland County Times, a newspaper which
was located in the town of Haverstraw, in Rockland County, New York.
The newspaper is still in operation, and publishes once a week.

Rather unusually, there is another letter typed on the other side (see last scan).

This letter is probably a first draft that was never sent, as it isnt signed.
This draft of a letter is dated February 18, 1914. It is addressed to
the J. E. Linde Paper Company, and is in regards to an order of paper.

The letter is in good condition, with creases where it was folded,
and some moderate wear.
